[20a-PB1-14] Observation of temperature variation by e-beam irradiation in Pt wire

Temperature variation of electron-beam irradiated Pt wire was observed by an infrared ray thermographic camera for the verification experiment to construct measurement system of thermal diffusivity for a nano-wire sample. From the comparison of the temperature change at 25 μm and 50 μm from the position irradiated with electron beam, the time delay of the heat transport due to the increase of the distance. The thermal diffusivity obtained from analysis using the one-dimensional diffusion equation showed a lower value than that reported for bulk Pt. An analysis with the influence of the structure is under consideration for investigating the heat transport in a Pt wire.
