Keywords:superconducting transition edge sensor, photon number resolving detector, quantum information

For optical quantum information processing, the superconducting transition sensor (TES) has attracted attention as a photon-number-resolving detector because it has low dark count rate and high energy resolution. We focus on iridium TES, which has a lower operating temperature than previously developed, and less thermal noise. In this talk, we introduce quantum efficiency improvement by using a perpendicular lensed fiber and an infrared microscope.
