▲ [20p-E214-3] Blue-extended Supercontinuum Generation in Air-Silica Microstructured Optical Fiber with Normal Dispersion at 450 nm

We present the blue-extended SC generation down to 330 nm in a 50 cm long air-silica microstructured optical fiber at 450 nm pump wavelength. The zero dispersion wavelengths of the fiber considered are 600 nm and 820 nm. The nonlinear coefficient and group velocity dispersion of the fiber at the pump wavelength are 798 W-1km-1 and 50.75 ps2/km, respectively. Such a blue-extended broad SC spectrum can be used in optical sensing and optical coherence tomography.
