[20p-E313-14] Separation of microbubbles in liquid by functional membrane

Tokihiro Takizawa1 (1.Shinshu Univ.)

Keywords:microbubbles

The micro bubble means a micro meter size bubble in liquid, and these characteristics in the liquid typically include "slow rise speed", "chargeability", "shrinkage property". While technological progress has been made with respect to the physical properties and generation methods of microbubbles, electrical properties, behavior in a liquid, and control methods thereof are often unknown. In this study, focusing on the microbubbles present in the aqueous liquid, proposing a simple degassing (gas-liquid separation) system in which a polymer(Ultra High Molecular weight PE) membrane is installed at the gas-liquid interface, focusing on the microbubbles present in the aqueous liquid. Furthermore, it aims at elucidating the influence on the behavior of the micro bubble by the electric field.
