Capacitors have attracted attention as next-generation storage devices because they have high-speed charge and discharge as well as excellent cycle characteristics. However, capacitors still have big issues such as low storage capacity. In this study, we fabricated a honeycomb film with electrochemically effective surface area using hybridized α-MnO2 nanoparticles composed of polydopamine, which is capable of surface modification to various substances such as nanoparticles. By using a honeycomb film, we improved the performance of capacitor electrodes.
