In recent years, the demand for optical materials with high refractive index (RI) and high transparency has increased. A polymer hybridized with high-RI nanoparticles, such as TiO2 (nTiO2 = 2.5-2.7) is one of high-RI materials. Moreover, wet annealing has been reported as a method further increasing the RI of polymer nanohybrid composites. However, its mechanism has not been clarified. We investigated the mechanism by analyzing the change in components of the polymer nanohybrid composites before and after wet annealing.
