In recent years, space division multiplexing (SDM) using a multi-core fiber (MCF) capable of high-capacity transmission has attracted attention from the problem of an increase in communication traffic. In this study, we examined a polymer waveguide using a 45 ° mirror and a self-forming lens as a connection part of an optical switch that switches the light path between MCFs.
