In all-printed organic transistors, we examined the factor which determines the switching characteristics in detail. As a result, we obtained sharp switching characteristics with specific semiconductor material, control of work function of electrodes, and low-temperature annealing. In addition, using hydrophobic gate dielectric with high gate capacitance, we achieved extremely sharp switching as small as 89 mV/dec, which is the smallest value reported for polymer semiconductor. In the presentation, we also discuss the relation between the switching characteristics and carrier trap.
