[21a-E204-7] Wavelength controllability of MMI fiber filters using liquid cladding in capillary tube
Keywords:multi-mode interference
Transmitted spectrum can be controlled by changing the parameters of the multi-mode interference (MMI) structures configured in the optical fibers. The wavelength-controllable MMI structures are formed using a no-core fiber as a core and a liquid as a clading. Thus the bandpass filter response is obtained. In this study, we report the change in the filter wavelength due to the liquid refractive index.
