[21a-E206-10] High sensitivity of surface-enhanced Raman scattering using an Ag nanoparticles substrate and Au coated magnetic nanoparticles controlled via a magnetic field
Keywords:Raman scattering, magnetic nanoparticle, 4-aminothiophenol
Raman spectroscopy is expected as a noninvasive method to detect biomolecules and cells. However, since the intensity of the scattered light is weak, it is necessary to increase the sensitivity by surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) or the like.In this presentation, for the purpose of highly sensitive detection of target molecules, we showed enhancement of Raman scattered light by combining a silver nanoparticles substrate we have developed with gold-coated magnetic nanoparticles that can be manipulated magnetically. From now on, we try to control the dynamics by applying an external magnetic field to the magnetic nanoparticles.
