[21p-E201-2] Physical properties of layered germanane

We have found that methyl- and ethyl-terminated layered germanane (GeCH₃ and GeEt) is well dispersed in chlorobenzene solvent by liquid exfoliation and fabricated electroluminescence (EL) device with a cast film from the dispersion of GeEt. Here, we report the effect of alkyl chain on optical properties of dispersions in halogenated solvents for alkyl-terminated layered germanane (GeR).
