[21p-E207-3] A traveling-wave model for a pulse-pumped degenerate optical parametric oscillator in a long cavity

Keywords:optical parametric oscillator, long cavity, traveling-wave model

A coherent Ising machine (CIM) is studied for a physical computer solving optimization problems. This machine is based on a degenerate optical parametric oscillator (DOPO), where time-division-multiplexed pulses representing Ising spins are created from a pulse-pumped PPLN and go round the ring cavity. Theoretical analysises of DOPOs for a CIM are conventionally based a traditional laser cavity model, where lights fully filled in the cavity experience amplification and cavity loss simultaneously and continuously. On contrary, this paper presents a traveling-wave model of a DOPO for a CIM, which fits to the actual system.
