[21p-E207-4] Stability analysis of 1-km fiber cavity and measurement system towards implementation of OPO reservoir computer
Keywords:Optical parametric oscillator, Optical reservoir computer, Allan variance
Optical parametric oscillators (OPOs) interacting via a measurement feedback have a nonlinearity and internal interaction required for reservoir computing. However, it was not realized to stabilize all optical system continuously so that OPOs can be used for a long time computation like a time series prediction task. Here, we analysed stability of the 1km optical fiber cavity and the measurement system. The Allan variance of the OPOs' output power implied that parameter drifts in the optical system are not significant for a computation time in the order of 100 ms. We also obtained stable optical homodyne measurement signals with a standard deviation of 2.7 % over 1 ms.
