△ [21p-E208-4] Modulation of transmission intensity of surface plasmon wave packet by eigenmode resonance in a metal-insulator-metal nano-cavity

In order to elucidate the interaction between meta-atom and external field, we evaluated the modulation in the shape of femtosecond surface plasmon wave packet induced via an interaction with a metal-insulator-metal nano-cavity. By using the FDTD simulation and the time-resolved microscopy technique, we show the function of MIM nano-cavity as a fabry-prot etalon type spectrum filter which generates the shape modulation of SPP wave packet.
