of (K, Na)NbO₃-BiAlO₃ based ferroelectric ceramics

(K, Na)NbO₃ based ceramics is concidered to be one of the most promising lead-free piezoelectric ceramics, but there are some problems such as volatilization of alkali metals. In this study, we investigated the effect of BiAlO₃ addition and spark plasma sintering(SPS) method on the sinterability. We investigated relation between ferroelectric properties and crystal, electric structures obtained by the Rietveld analysis using synchrotron X-ray diffraction date.
