[10p-W810-9] Brain-inspired information and communication systems

Naoki Wakamiya1 (1.Osaka Univ.)

Keywords:reservoir computing, wireless sensor network

To build highly scalable, adaptive, and robust information communication systems, so-called bio-inspired information and communication technology has been attracting researchers. In this talk, a novel sensor network technology will be introduced. By adopting a brain-inspired information processing mechanism, more specifically reservoir computing model, reliable event detection is accomplished in a wireless sensor network consisting of simple nodes equipped with a binary sensor, a simple circuitry, and an impulse radio transceiver.
