[11a-S223-10] Synthesis of Phosphor Materials using the WASSR method

Kenji Toda1 (1.Niigata Univ.)

Keywords:Phosphor, Soft Chemistry, WASSR method

Recently, we disclosed a novel water assisted room temperature solid state reaction (WASSR) method to synthesize
the nano-ceramic materials in a single phase form at low temperature. The WASSR method is a very simple and can synthesize the nano phosphor materials just by mixing or storing of raw materials with a small amount of water at low temperature (below 473 K). We present the luminescence properties of the phosphor materials synthesized by our original WASSR method.
