[11a-W611-4] Suppression Effect of Colletotrichum Gloeosporioides Conidia Germination
with Distilled Water Direct Spraying Device with Air Plasma Effluent Gas
Keywords:plasma-liquid interaction, plasma agricultural applications, sterlization
A distilled water direct spraying device with air plasma effluent gas has been developed, which can enable to transport the generated reactive species to objects in a short time and to shorten the treatment time. Plasma effluent gas-dissolved-solution (PDS) generated with our device could suppress the germination of C.glo conidia by 10 seconds’ PDS spray. In addition, the PDS effect on the conidia germination suppression can be lost approximately within 20 seconds after the PDS spray. This suggests the contribution of short-lived reactive species in PDS to the conidia germination suppression effect.
