Recently, there have been many reports of plasma application for agriculture. In this study, we performed the plasma irradiation to the rice seeds on the process of germination in order to investigate the optimal condition for the growth promotion using an ultra-high-density plasma source which we developed. The results indicated that the growth after germination was promoted with short-time treatment.
