Ionic liquids (ILs) have been expected as a new electrolyte solution, and the electronic states of ILs located close to an electrode surface should provide important information. Far-ultraviolet (FUV, <200 nm) and deep-ultraviolet (DUV, <300 nm) regions have substantial information about the electronic states of various materials. In this study, we developed a new electrochemical FUV-DUV spectroscopy system, which adopts attenuated total reflectance (ATR) method.
