Keywords:Energy Harvesting, Electret, Quantum Chemistry

Electret vibration energy harvester efficiently converts ambient vibration into electrectricity by electrostatic induction. A high-performance electret having high surface potential and stable charge trap is desired. In this study, quantum chemical analysis is performed to analyze charge trap phenomena of fluorinated amorphous polymer electret CYTOP, focusing on influence of its functional group. A new polymer electret is proposed and developed based on the analysis.
