We studied the influence of the surface grid metal pattern on the conversion efficiencies of the solar calls.Firstly, 1550 nm laser light was irradiated to the InGaAs solar cells with different number of surface grid electrodes, then we investigated the difference in conversion efficiency when irradiating 826nm laser vertically or in parallel to the grid electrode of GaAs solar cell.In a result, it was found that the larger number of grid electrodes had advantages for the higher efficiencies in the case with high power irradiation, and the vertical irradiation to the grid electrodes had also advantages for that.
