We have developed a method of hydrogen generation in the body by using Si-based agents who are designed to be able to react with water in the neutral pH region between 7 and 9. By eliminating hydroxyl radicals, hydrogen in the body can decrease the possibility of suffering from various diseases mainly caused by internal oxidation. In the present study, the effect of pH on hydrogen generation from Si-based agents has been investigated.
