Pyrex glass nanopipettes with the inner diameter less than several hundred meters were used for the injection of chemical materials to single living cells and commercially available. However, clogging of the nanopipettes after a single shot often happened, which resulted in the decrease of the viability of the injection. We have developed a method to check the inner diameter and cleanliness by measuring the vacuum conductance of the nanopipettes. Here, we report the vacuum conductance and the SEM observation of the nanopipettes.
