Keywords:LCoS-SLM

In recent years, demand for high-performance Lidar (light detection and ranging) is increasing in applications such as automatic driving technology of automobiles. There is a demand for miniaturization and cost reduction of the system, and there are a method of scanning a beam with a small mirror using MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems) technology, a Lidar system of creating a phased array with a silicon waveguide and performing beam steering It has been developed. In this research, wide-angle ray scanning using LCoS (Liquid Crystal on Silicon) -SLM (Spatial Light Modulator) was conducted to realize Lidar that achieves both high spatial resolution in long distance measurement and wide viewing angle.
