We developed X-folded cavity using a Cr2+:ZnS polycrystalline as a gain medium, and used single walled carbon nanotubes film which has the absorption peak at 2.4 um as a saturable absorber. Self-starting of mode-locking was observed and its rise time is less than 200 us. After optimizing pump power and dispersion compensation, the laser oscillation demonstrated 52 fs (6.5 optical cycle) with 6.8 THz(128 nm) spectrum span.
