[10a-Z17-7] High-Sensitive DNA Detection on Optical Metasurface Sensors

Masanobu Iwanaga1 (1.NIMS)

Keywords:metasurface, DNA detection, fluorescence sensor

To detect small biomolecules such as DNA fragments and RNA, fluorescence (FL) detection is more suitable than resonant shift detection related to target molecular weight since the latter is generally less sensitive to small molecules. We conducted FLdetection of oligo DNA on all-dielectric metasurfaces. In the proof-of-concept experiments, we succeeded in FL detection of low-concentration target DNA on the metasurfaces.
