Keywords:High-order harmonic generation

High-order harmonics from solids generated by lightwave mixing have the potential to lead to the development of new nonlinear optical devices, and are also extremely important in understanding the fundamental mechanism of higher-order harmonic generation. In this study, for the first time, we demonstrated that excitation of semiconductor GaSe with orthogonal two-color laser fields can significantly rotate the polarization angle of high-order harmonics, and further elucidated that the change in polarization state is caused by the change in electron motion.
