We are developing a high frequency amplifier using SIS mixers with frequency conversion gains. Two low-noise SIS mixers at the millimeter wavelengths are directly cascaded with a waveguide, whose characteristics was evaluated as a amplifier. We successfully observed the microwave amplification with the noise temperature of less than 10 K.
