Keywords:superconducting nanowire single photon detector, superconducting nanostrip single photon detector

One of the problems in superconducting nanowire single photon detector (SSPD) is that the operating speed is limited by the parasitic inductance of the nanowire. To overcome this, we have been developing a 16-element SSPD system that applies a high-speed multiplexing circuit using a superconducting single-flux-quantum (SFQ) circuit. We evaluate the high-speed operation in 16-element SSPD element with SFQ multiplexing circuit installed in the a cryocooler system.
