Superconducting Transition Edge Sensor (TES) has the capability of photon number resolution and high detection efficiency, and is used for various photon measurement applications including quantum optical experiments. As a material for TES, we focused on iridium, which is chemically stable, and developing single-layer iridium optical TES. We will report on the results about newlly demonstrated photon distribution measurement in a telecommunication wavelength (1550 nm).
