耐薬性のあるフッ化炭素系ブラシの開発を行ったが、pH中性領域では、高い洗浄性能を発揮できたが、SC1等のアルカリ洗浄において、既存PVAブラシと比較すると著しく洗浄性能が低下する問題があった。そこで、フッ化炭素系ブラシの表面状態等の改良を行うことでアルカリ洗浄においてもPVAと同等の洗浄性能を達成できた。
