[10p-Z17-16] Gas permeance control of nanomembranes by thermoplasmonics
Keywords:CO2 capture, membrane separation, thermoplasmonics
CO2 capture by membrane at the large CO2 emission site is a promising approch to mitigate global warming. In this study, we aimed to improve the permeability of the separation membrane, thermoplasmonic effect of silver nanoparticles (AgNP) were employed to enphance the dynamic behavior of membrane polymer. We report that the gas permeability was improved by heating near the particles and inducing thermal motion of the surrounding polymer chains.
