Active metasurfaces using VO2 can dynamically change optical properties. Recently, as an application of VO2 metasurfaces, the active radiative cooling system, which switches the cooling efficiency by changing the absorption, has been developed. In this study, we propose a dielectric metasurface using VO2 and demonstrate the absorption control by phase transition. The proposed active radiative cooling device can be applied for window materials or high efficient photovoltaic power generation, etc.
