Cancer progress degree (thickness of cancerous tissue) on cancer advanced from surface into the inside is very important factor for determining the policy of medical treatment. The sampling depth can be varied by changing incident and detection angles in our proposed technique of cancer detection with scattered circularly polarized (CP) light, which is expected that the cancer progress degree can be estimated. Reported in this paper is that thickness measurement with CP light scattering and depth resolutions were investigated with Monte Carlo methods.
