The emission mechanism of radiation-induced luminescence of BeO, which is expected to be used as a personal dosimeter, has not been clarified. In order to obtain the knowledge about this, in the present study, the emission spectrum of radiation-induced luminescence were measured using BeO ceramics and the emission components were separated by peak fitting. As a result, the possibility of existence of 5 kinds of emission components and 4 kinds of electron trap levels was shown. By summarizing the above, we propose a luminescence model of BeO ceramics.
