I focused on high refractive index dielectric nanostructure coloring by Mie resonance and developed silicon nanoparticle inks to color various large substrates. In order to get bright resonant color, high concentration is needed. However, saturation degrades because of multiple scattering. In this wok, I developed simulation program of nanoparticles in colloidal solution considering multiple scattering, and demonstrated Si nanoparticle inks showing bright and saturated colors by adding some absorber in order to depress multiple scattering theoretically and experimentally.
