[11a-Z24-6] Incident angle dependence of anomalous refraction in moiré type metasurfaces with anisotropic deformation

Keywords:metasurface, geometric phase

When a couple of periodic structures are overlapped with slight deformation, a moiré pattern appears. We have proposed a moiré type metasurface, which consists of two two-dimensional periodic metal structures with the deformation combining controllability of an electromagnetic wave as a metasurface and sensitivity to the deformation as the moiré pattern. We believe these structures are applicable to a modulation technique for a terahertz wave. Previously, we numerically predicted, when anisotropic deformation is introduced into the moiré type metasurface, the anomalous refraction of circularly polarized light depending on the incident angle can be observed. At this time, we will show the experimental results of the anomalous refraction on our moiré type metasurface with anisotropic deformation.
