Keywords:carbon nanotube, Physical property, Long CNT

In the long-term synthesis of CNT forest, due to diffusion of Fe catalyst into Al2O3 supporting layer and Ostwald dryning, CNT self-growth stops and the length of CNT becomes about several mm. Recently, it has been reported that CNTs that enable further long growth by the CVD method using Fe-Gd catalyst. In this study, we investigated the tensile and electron transport properties of 14 cm high continuous crystal CNT forests achieved with Fe-Gd catalysts.
