We investigated adsorption effects on vertically aligned carbon nanotubes in different states using Raman scattering spectroscopy. Water molecules adsorbed on partially suspended SWCNTs in vertically aligned CNTs, and the intensity of radial breathing mode (RBM) peaks changed due to the changes of Raman shift and optical transition energy of RBM peaks.
