[11p-Z11-7] Crystal Orientation and Solar Cell Properties of Bar-coated CH3NH3PbI3 Thin Film

Fabrication of CH3NH3PbI3 (MAPbI3) thin films in perovskite solar cells were carried out by using a bar-coating technique, which is suitable for large-scale production. Although a previous study reported that (110) of the tetragonal crystal are oriented out of the substrate, (100) of MAPbI3 fabricated by the bar-coated method was found to be uniformly oriented out of plane direction of the substrate. Utilizing the thin films as an active layer of solar cell, favorable solar cell properties were demonstrated.
