We evaluated the influence of a inclination angle of the grain boundary of multicrystalline Si for solar cells on the carrier distribution using finite difference simulation. The influence of the inclination angle on the carrier distribution was qualitatively investigated by performing simulations while changing parameters such as the recombination velocity and the inclination angle. As a result, it can be said that it is necessary to consider the inclination angle of the grain boundary in order to more accurately obtain the recombination velocity, which is an inherent characteristic of the grain boundary.
