[11p-Z24-4] Generation of narrow-band sub-terahertz signals using a microcomb light source

We report generation and characterization of narrowband sub-terahertz signals via a uni-travelling-carrier photodiode pumped by a spectrally interleaved microcomb light source. When mode-locked, the output frequency at 100 GHz characterized with the aid of a harmonic mixier showed the 3 dB bandwidth below 10 kHz without any feedback control. Scaling of measurement frequencies to a multi-100 GHz range will also be discussed in the presentation.
