[8a-Z01-4] Development and Application of Dipolar Head-to-Tail Molecules

Keywords:dendrimer, OLED, single-molecule electronics

Binding dipolar molecules such as carbazoles in a head-to-tail fashion creates a molecule with largely polarized electronic structure. These molecules can be combined with an acceptor molecule to express thermally activated delayed fluorescence(TADF). It can also serve as single-molecule diodes based on the deformation of the polarized molecular orbital. In this work, I will discuss about these optical and electronic functions of dendritic and linear head-to-tail carbazoles.
