The magnetic sensitivity has been improved by eliminating the effect of temperature drift by using four operating points of equal fluorescence amount sandwiching a pair of resonance points on the ODMR spectrum of the NV center. In order to set the measured magnetic signal bandwidth to 1kHz or higher, it is necessary to raise the frequency (Fmod) that goes around the four operating points to about 20kHz. However, if the four operating points are switched in the order of frequencies f1 → f2 → f3 → f4 → f1, the time required for f1 → f2 and f2 → f1 will be different, so the relationship between the frequency shift and the change in light intensity will be nonlinear. become. Then, there is a problem that the sensitivity is rapidly deteriorated. In this report, the result of changing the operating point switching order and speeding up Fmod to 20kHz is described.
