Recently, optical image transport of higher resolution has been proposed using transversely optical fibers than using conventional imaging optical fibers. We will report a transversely disordered optical fiber made of chalcogenide glasses, which are well known for broad transmission range in the mid-infrared region, and propagation of mid-infrared light in this fiber.
