[8p-Z16-7] Investigation of side polish concave shape for improving sensitivity of plastic optical fiber humidity sensor

We are developing leaky/waveguide conversion plastic optical fiber (POF) humidity sensors. In order to improve the sensityvity, we pay attention to the guided light propagating in the core and try to make the shape of the core side polish concave. In this study, we focus on the change of the center thicknessof the side polish concave shape and investigate its effect on the sensor sensitivity.
