[8p-Z19-16] Injection-locked nanosecond pulsed laser for the Ca+ and Ca LiDAR

We developed an Injection-locked nanosecond pulsed Ti:sapphire laser as a light source for the LiDAR observation of Ca and Ca+; the developed Ti:sapphire laser could simultaneously emit two wavelengths matched with the resonance lines of Ca and Ca+, respectively. We examined a lidar measurement by using the developed laser and successfully observed a thin layer of Ca+ around 100 km above the ground.
