We have been investigating superconducting qubits based on fully epitaxial NbN/AlN/NbN Josephson Junctions which have attractive properties for qubit applications such as the high crystal quality, its chemical stability against oxidization, and relatively high transition temperature (~ 16 K) of NbN. In this presentation, we will report the experimental results for the NbN-based superconducting qubits with a π-phase shifter which have been studied for high coherence.
