[8p-Z28-5] Construction of guiding principle and development of high-performance thermoelectric materials

We constructed a guiding principle for obtaining high-performance thermoelectric materials. The conditions for realizing the high performance will be explained in detail in terms of electronic structure, phonon dispersion, electron scattering and phonon scattering, and element substitutions. Some materials possessing superior performance were also developed using this principle. The characteristics in electronic structure and local atomic arrangements of these high-performance thermoelectric materials will be introduced with their thermoelectric properties.
